(Karzahni is reading a manual on how to build a repeater cannon, he looks bored…)

Karzahni:”Its quiet, way too quiet, don’t you ever just wish something would just happen, like not in a bad way or a good way just, something you know?

Thrall:”….”

Karzahni:”Yeah, me too.”

Karzahni:”I mean I just finished assembling my giant robot just to find out I can’t even pilot the thing, ain’t that just terrible?”

Thrall:”…”

Karzahni:”You know what? your right I should do something about this, I’m going to make this day worth remembering.”

Karzahni:”But too bad I’m still recovering from the migraine this accursed mask gave me after say…fifty-seven attempts to make a replica of me.”

Thrall:”…”

Karzahni:”Oh come on they weren’t that bad, they only lasted five minutes before they started to decay at least you were there to clean up the mess after.”

Thrall:”…(cough cough)”

Karzahni:”So hows about we try something I haven’t tried in a while, lets pull more people through time and space to serve me, like really tough but loyal, like you.”

Thrall:”…(sniff)”

Karzahni:”No, i’m not going to mess it up like last time, I found this really cool place that looks like a good place for vacation.”

Thrall:”…”

Karzahni:”Alright fine, but I don’t care if this costs me an arm or a leg, It’ll be just like all the other times and then I say I told you so-”

(The chain suddenly tightens, and slowly pulls towards the portal)

Karzahni:”Wait hold on, that’s not whats suppose to happen next, I’m the one pulling not- wait wait wait wait!”

(Karzahni shoots forward as a unknown force pulls the chain further into the portal, launching Karzahni into the air)

(the mad overlord flies into the vortex and it closes leaving the room empty, with exception of Thrall who stares at where his master once stood…)

(hours later)

Tuyet:”It’s almost complete, once that fool is overthrown my new kingdom shall ri-”

Karzahni:”AAAUUUUUGGHHHHGGHH!!!!(the sound of crashing can be heard)

Tuyet:”Well, that was fast hopefully he’s dead by the time I get there…”

Rotor:”So…yous takin ova?”

Tuyet:”Yes you blunderhead and once I’m in charge you can be my personal-”

(the portal sparks to life basking the room in a purpleish pink light, a second later Karzahni stumbles out, his arm is apparently missing)

Tuyet:”Oh nevermind he’s alive, pity.”

Rotor:”Is he dead?”

Karzahni:”Close the portal.”

Tuyet:”What?

Karzahni:”CLOSE THE PORTAL!!!”

Rotor:”Why?”

Karzahni:”He’s coming…for me, now don’t just stand there, close the-”

(the portal shimmers and a figure takes shape behind it)

Karzahni:”Oh no…he’s…”

Tuyet:”what is it? Spit it out freakshow whats coming? who’s coming?”

Karzahni:”He’s here…”

(The portal frame shudders as the figure becomes more and more distinguishable)

The entity stops in front of the barrier it appears to be carrying something limp, then it bunches it’s arm carrying the object back back and…)

(Smashes through the glass,the sound of a jet is heard as the arm carrying what is shown to be Karzahni’s severed arm shoots out of the barrier, a chain, Karzahni’s chain is wrapped around it’s arm)

(the crimson figure steps through the vortex and gazes around before spotting Karzahni and begins marching towards him)

Karzahni:”What are you doing?! defend me worms!”

Rotor:”C’mon tough guy yous pickin a fight with me? your gonna be havin a real…real…uh…”

Rotor:”Uh…wait dis…you wants me to fight dis guy? can’t little miss murder queen fight em instead?”

Tuyet:”(SIGH) Either you fight him or you get out of the way, pick. one.”

Rotor:”No, no, I-I can take this chump, j-just-just give me a sec.”

(the crimson colossus continues his march eyes fixed on Karzahni, intent on ending him completely disregarding everyone else)

(noticing that someone was in his way, the being simply raised his hand…)

Rotor:”Alright then, c’mon you oversized walking furn-”

(the giant merely acknowledged Rotor before swatting him away with its clawed gauntlet, Tuyet looked on in disbelief while Karzahni seemingly lost in thought suddenly had a crazed grin on his face)

Karzahni:”You, distract it for a while, I have a plan.”

Tuyet:”Fight it? you want me to fight it while you go off to hide, this isn’t a set up to get rid of me is it?”

Karzahni:”No, no no of course not my double age- friend, do you not trust me?”

Tuyet:”Fine, just get out of my way and do it.”

(Tuyet picks up a piece of scrap metal and throws it at the blood red behemoth,he notices and dodges away with surprising agility, then turns to glare at her)

Tuyet:”Time to teach you some disciple wretch.”

(Tuyet with all of her might thrusts the blade into the figure, a normal being would have been cleaved in two with the amount of force put behind that blade, but all it did was scrape against the shoulder of the hulking stranger, however it had been enough to make him stop infront of Tuyet)

(for what seemed like minutes the towering being simply stared down at the smaller blue toa who had swung at him with that blade, Tuyet could feel the giant’s eyes studying her with wordless contempt, if he was angry she could not tell)

(slowly, the crimson tower turned to look at the vorpal weapon that hadn’t even so much as punctured his armor, it was a intriguing sword he had never seen before and it interested him for only a moment…)

(He slowly reached over with his claw and took the barbed sword in his grasp, too shocked to speak before was shaken out of here stupor by this action and tried to resist)

(though the blade was ripped from her hands before she could respond, the vermillon figure stopped briefly to gaze at the craftsmanship of this blade while not one to use swords himself he couldn’t help but wonder how this weapon could have ended up in the hands of someone so vile as this)

Tuyet:”Give me back my blade this instant! or I’ll drown you where you stand!!”

(without uttering a sound, the colossus flicked his right arm up wrapping the still ensnared chain around Tuyet’s throat)

(Tuyet could feel the chain scorching her neck the pain was unbearable, suddenly she was jolted forward)

(as the chain unwound Tuyet had more than enough reason that Karzahni had left her to be torn apart by this…thing and that this was her end)

Tuyet:”Go on, finish it monster, I’m not afraid of you like that cowardly slug is just kill me already.”

(The entity grabbed her by the back of the head and squeezed, the crown piece on Tuyets mask cracked and fell off revealing a gapping hole and a scar where the left eye would be, the would be tyrant slipped into unconsciousness)

(It seemed so sudden, but one moment he was holding the nearly dead toa of water, the next his eyes where filled with horrifying images of his past life where all the people he knew were dead, the villages he saved burned to the ground, and the Turaga, a smoldering corpse in front of him, he released the toa who fell to the ground, and clutched his mask the images were flashing much faster now and each was getting worse and worse)

(eventually he fell to his knees the pain and horror was too much, If he could scream he would, eventually the visions stopped and he stared at the shining obsidian floor trying to get his bearings)

(Karzahni, having recovered his arm fitted it back into place with a snap then tested it for broken joints as he walked toward the toa)

Karzahni:”You gave me quite a bit of trouble back there, almost got me too, but really, its too bad you had to follow me instead of just staying where you were.”

Karzahni:”Otherwise, you would have at least had a more merciful beating later…”

Karzahni:”But…why wait?”

(Karzahni throw up his hand and recalls his chain to him)

Karzahni:”I’ve read your mind and I must say you are one interesting specimen Dameta, your a…cyborg? and in your world you live alongside yourself as a turaga? that’s not something you see everyday.”

(Karzahni drags the still dazed Dameta across the floor and flings him into the unfinished cannon across the room)

Karzahni:”I could kill you yes, but you seem far to valuable be just a corpse, you almost killed me and forced me to use my Olisi? consider me impressed.”

(Karzahni then pulls Dameta so that he is before his feet)

Karzahni:”So I was thinking, hows about I put hat muscle to use and have you go put an end to some trespassers on my property sound good?”

(Dameta could barely get up but he couldn’t let this demented demonspawn get the best of him so he used what was left of his strength to look the tyrant in his burning orange eyes)

(or at least to see his feet before spitting on them then looking dead on at the mad god with a scowl)

(Another wave of terrifiying images swept through his mind this time his whole world was burning down as the Looming figure of a grotesque monstrosity bearing Karzahni’s face bore down on the helpless villagers, the pain was overwhelming as all he focus on was the searing image of that twisted face in his mind)

(defeated, he let go of his flame claws shortly after the visions abruptly ceased letting the mute toa regain his thoughts)

Karzahni:”You’ve got guts to defy me like that, I like it and Im more convinced than ever that you’ll be perfect for your going to do next.”

Karzahni :”But whats a task without…incentive, you bring me back the heads of my enemies and I’ll make sure you are properly rewarded.”

Karzahni:”All you got to do is shake on it and we’ll have a deal, what do you say ‘partner’?”

(Dameta stare’s dumbfounded at the apparent gesture in front of him, how he accept working with the monster that had only moments ago; attacked him for no reason, had injured his Turaga, and had now mentally scarred him with that horrible power of his, and now that he was on his knees he was being forced to be a slave to this depraved lunatic?)

(“No” thought Dameta as he swatted aside Karzahni’s hand, he had had enough, better to return home than be stuck doing the bidding of this unhinged serpent like the many other unfortunate souls who took his ‘offer’ “better to die than be a pawn to this.” he thought as he turned to leave)

Karzahni:”So after all that you still don’t want a wish? even after I generously offered you power your still not interested?”

Karzahni:”The favor of a god shouldn’t be wasted you know? many others would die have this opportunity i’m giving you.”

Karzahni:”I’ve looked into your mind already, who you are where you live, even your…past life, surely this doesn’t interest you in the slightest?”

(Dameta shoulders on by Karzahni, clearly set for home and to leave as soon as possible)

Karzahni:”Or perhaps I wasn’t clear the first time…”

(with a bit of magic the crazy god flicks Dameta on his mask paralyzing him for a short period)

Karzahni:”…You could have anything you desire, I could even pull up another whiteboard to show you.”

Karzahni:”Think, Dameta Think! anything… anything beyond what you could imagine, I could bring your friends back, restore your body, even give you a voice! and all you have to do is make a contract with me…no stings attached.”

Karzahni:”So think a moment about this, take your time…”

(Although he didn’t want to admit it, he had cautiously thought about what Karzahni had said, anything? well most people would think pretty big when they would make a wish so why not think of something small instead? where if it was a trick, it would be of little consequence…)

(He looked around the room for anything he could use eventually laying eyes on the Olmak mounted on a pedestal, “What would be the harm in taking that?” he wondered)

(deciding on his prize he pointed at the mask of dimensional gates)

Karzahni:”Oh…you want…that? why would you? oh well it doesn’t matter, i’m sure Tuyet wouldn’t really mind anyways.”

Karzahni:”Well you want it? then lets make a offer then, you hunt down and kill Sylus and Ekimu, and you get not just the mask, but also whatever they have…”

Karzahni:”Do we have a deal?”

The Legendary mask of Creation has existed for generations since the beginning of time itself, long ago two of the great beings earliest creations, Artahka and Karzahni were pitted against one another for ownership of this mask, Artahka emerged victorious and was given the duty of being the Architect of many great works in the Matoran Universe, many centuries later the Creator’s world would be turn upon itself as his Brother would take over the Universe and become its god, placing his home island named after himself under endless siege.

The Mask itself had the power to create anything so long as the user had the right materials or had knowledge of the design already, users could attempt to build things from scratch but would require much focus to do so, notable it would burn the minds of anyone it deemed unworthy of wearing it

“Were this mask to fall into possession of someone truly evil, it would be as if the sun itself were to never rise again on the horizon.” -Artahka

(Artakha awakens in a unfamiliar place)

Artakha:”W-what? where-”

Artakha:”My arms…but I don’t remember building myself new armor…”

Artakha:”I would need my mask too…my mask where is my mask?”

Makuta gen 2:”Gone, taken by Karzahni.”

Artakha:”Makuta! what have you done with my mask?! where have you taken me?”

Makuta gen 2:”Somewhere far away from the Tyrant’s prying eyes, somewhere where we can talk without being watched.”

Artakha:”And why would I believe you? dishonest snake.”

(Makuta grabs the powerless creator by the head)

Makuta gen 2:”Because if I had wanted you dead you would have been long ago!”

Makuta gen 2:”And If you want to keep your head on your shoulders you. will. listen!”

Artakha:”Then perhaps you should have listened when I told you to leave your master in the first place.”

(Makuta contemplates killing him and being done with it, but he remembers what Helryx had told him…)

Makuta gen 2:”No you…you are right, perhaps I should have listened to you when you told me to abandon my master…”

Makuta gen 2:”My brother and the delinquent are on their way to Karzahni’s fortress yes? then I’ll need your help.”

Artakha:”what’s this? the high and mighty Makuta wanting to help me after centuries of destroying my land? how is this not just another trick of yours?”

Makuta gen 2:”Because when I found you I too though it was a trick…”

(flashback)

Makuta gen 2:”When I came to your workshop, looking for you it was in ruins.”

Makuta gen 2:”The place looked like it had been ransacked, the banners were either drenched or shredded, by what, I do not know.”

Makuta gen 2:”Apparently, in the chaos the mask of ultimate power had been untouched it seems that was not what they were after.”

Makuta gen 2:”The Mask of Ultimate power belonged to me again…but then I saw you, prone, arms had been mangled and your mask stolen,I could have left you there…”

Makuta gen 2:”Under normal circumstances I would have left you to perish…”

Artakha:”But you didn’t…why?”

Makuta gen 2:”Because a certain someone convinced me to open my eyes to…other possibilities.”

(Makuta reaches over to a rock with his old mask and a new one)

Makuta gen 2:”Here, a mask that I picked up along the way I already used it to create your new arms it should serve you well.”

Makuta gen 2:”If this does not gain your trust, then I’m not sure what will.”

(Artakha takes the mask in his hand it sparkles in the light and glows faintly)

(Artakha looks over at Makuta, he may have been the cause of so much death, but maybe he could redeem himself…)

(He remembers back on when he would hear Ekimu lament to himself about his brother becoming corrupted and that there was not other way to cure him)

(Though that may not be entirely true it would seem, that even someone as evil as Makuta would want to change, only time would tell if this was to remain true)

Artakha:”Very well, we must depart immediately…”

Artahka:”For the fate of the world lies in the balance

“The wildlife of the Matoran Universe changed when the mad god took control and the Rahkshi were no exception, many rahkshi were wild at the time with the death of Teridax and the other makuta only to be rallied under the Makuta of Okoto’s control, now under a new master they were modified to be much more intelligent and telepathic ablilties which let them coordinate attacks rather than blindly rushing forward. alongside their newfound intelligence they also received additional powers that only showed when they combined into a Kaita.

The Rahkshi Kaita Za formed only when a Turahk, Lehrahk and Kurahk combine together, this creature differs from the original only that now it can control the wind itself rather than being just able to become a living cyclone it could poison the atmosphere or fill it with fear or anger toxins to neutralize its prey, it also possessed great strength in its massive hands which could crush stones to dust and tear metal in half, while it has three heads it operates on a single Kraata, removing it should disable the creature.

“How do you know when one is nearby? if the air seems more green than usual and smells of sulfur, then its already too close, run and hold your breath.”-Sylus

Karzahni:”Magnificent isn’t it? just a few more days and I’ll truly control this universe, just like I was promised…”

(“Promised? by who, the box?” Dameta thought)

Karzahni:”And I promise you my new friend, after you come back with that traitor’s head, you’ll be rewarded with whatever you want! name it its yours.”

(“He does know I can’t really speak right?”)

Karzahni:”Now, if you will follow me I just wanted to show you the whiteboard I promised, I spent all night making it.”

(“Woo-hoo, I guess.”)

Karzahni:”Now I know what your thinking…

(“Really now?”)

…You want to know who your going to find…

(“Why am I not surprised?”)

…and behead for me?”

(“Hey, I wouldn’t go that far.”)

Karzahni:”…So I thought that you would like to see-”

(Dameta continues to ignore Karzahni and stare at the box under construction, something about it seems…wrong)

(Karzahni gestures over to the Thrall to hand him the pointer)

(Without warning he cracks the stick across Dameta’s face, bringing him back to attention)

Karzahni:”Listen when I speak to you…”

Karzahni:”So this is you, and there’s handsome ol’ me in the background, see? i’m angry because two stooges have decided to trespass on my property…”

(“Who wrote this? a Agori*?”)

Karzahni:”And here…is you putting them in the ground where they belong.”

(“Wait, where did the stick he was using go?”)

Karzahni:”And that pretty much wraps it up, what do you think? one outta ten? you love it?”

(“It sucks, this plan is stupid and so are you.”)

Karzahni:’Great! I’ll take your silence as a ten out of ten!”

(“Sometimes I wish I could actually talk...”)

Karzahni:”Now get out there and show them you don’t cross me.”

(Flashback end)

(So I’m Stuck working for a lunatic, I’m stuck here until I kill some guy I don’t know for said lunatic and now it looks like it’s going to rain, great I’m loving this planet already.” Dameta fumed as he rubbed the spot where the stick had hit him earlier)

(Dameta walked along a wall toward what looked like a jungle in the distance, up ahead he saw what looked like broken arrows, a strange crater with a equally strange indent, and what looked like a broken blade of some kind cracked down the middle…)

(“What happened here? looks like someone had a fight, and it ended badly, for them.”)

(“But that would me-”)

???:”You there, traveler!!!”

(Suddenly, a strange light bolted in view and landed in front of Dameta, emerging as a tall figure in green and yellow, he carried a staff with a axe on one end and a spear on the other, strangest of all were the wheels mounted on his feet which he balanced himself on)

???:”You walk a dangerous path stranger, I cannot allow you to continue your path to destruction.”

Umbra:”I am Umbra Guardian of this path, turn back while you can, your quest is doomed to fail.”

(“Who is this loony? telling me what to do? I don’t have time for this…”)

Umbra:”Beyond this point a monster was seen entering the jungle sector, for your safety turn back.”

Umbra:”This is your last warning traveler, leave or I will be-”

(Dameta shoulders past Umbra and walks toards the jungle sector)

(“Thanks, but I’ll take my chances.” Dameta muses as he continues to walk onward)

Umbra:”I thought I made myself clear…

TURN…

(The figure shoots forward at lightning speed faster than the eye can see towards Dameta, passing through him and out in-front of him)

BACK!!!”

(Dameta looks dumbfounded at the warrior but then collapses on a knee, feeling as if a knife had been stuck inside of him)

Umbra:”If you will not listen to reason, then perhaps violence will make you see.”

(“Violence huh?”)

(“Now we’re speaking my language.”)

(Dameta, through the pain rises and brandishes a colossal warhammer, and readies into a battle position)

(Dameta looks down at the prone body of the now defeated Umbra, he had been a tough opponent but he was down but not dead, it would be best if he moved on now…)

(noticing a mask-like object on the ground, Dameta picks it up and examines it closely, sadly, the power inside of it is drained and currently not usable at the moment, it may take time for it to fully replenish, “Umbra must have been using it to speed around like that, could be useful.” Dameta thought then he noticed that it had started to downpour during the fight and was now drenched)

(“I hate rain…” Dameta thought to himself as he continued his quest to find his way home)

A inhabitant of the now defunct Hero Factory was one of the many inhabitants that profited from Makuhero city’s fall, eventually becoming a warlord of sorts, Rotor spent most of his time ruling in the ashes of the city and with no one to stop him he became filthy rich even owning a airship to rule high from above, as any remaining heroes remaining suddenly had no way to recharge their hero cores they either joined Rotor’s growing empire or perished from depleted cores or were killed off.

Everything changed when one afternoon as Rotor was counting his money, a portal open in the ceiling and a pair of chains flew out and wrapped themselves around his arms pulling him inside where the distorted grotesque mask of Karzahni was waiting for him, ready to bargain a deal promising ‘riches beyond imagining’. That these riches he spoke of are real in any meaningful way, Rotor never questioned it, no matter how dubious it sounded.

“{I’ve seen Nui-Jaga smarter than him, and he has a face that makes Tarakava look pretty.}*”-Dameta

(Ekimu and Sylus have stopped at a rock pile to rest after a harrowing ride fighting a Rahkshi Kaita, Sylus is seen cleaning his blade, however Ekimu is staring off into the distance)

Sylus:”So…what dimension you from?”

Ekimu:”Pardon?”

Sylus:”Your home dimension, your obviously not from here so Im asking you where you came from thats all.”

Sylus:”I mean, its cool if you don’t want o talk about it-”

Ekimu:”No! no, its fine I come from Okoto.”

Sylus:”Okoto huh? heard about it and how…different it is from where I came from.”

Ekimu:”Do you miss your home?”

Sylus:”Nah, nothing for me back there.”

Ekimu:”No friends, other toa, anything?”

Sylus:”No…”

Sylus:”Do you ever miss your home?”

Ekimu:”Every day I think back to the magnificent makers city back home, the golden beaches, the lush jungles even the vast desert as far as you can see…what i would give to see it again.”

Sylus:”Hey don’t be so down about it once we kick Karzahni’s ass back to whatever dump he came from you could go home when you want.”

Sylus:”Your really lucky to have such a beautiful world, where I came from Last I heard the Universe was dying and what I know about Okoto the worst thing that’s ever happened was when a whole city just disappeared into the void.”

Ekimu:”Wait, you know about that?

Sylus:”Oh sure, I know about how six toa came from the sky, how you had your own mask of time, so much you see when your hopping dimensions.”

Sylus:”I’ve visited so many places, some suck, some are meh really, but some of them, like this one are ones worth remembering.”

Sylus:”You know, there was one time I visited this city, had its own police force they called them ‘heroes’ or something and lets just say the locals didn’t appreciate me trying to go sightseeing in their tower.”

Ekimu:”Toa Sylus?”

Sylus:”Yeah? you want to know how I got out after the tower exploded? or how I got her-”

Helryx:”If I may interrupt, I must speak with you.”

(Sylus jumps at the voice and stumbles forward)

Ekimu:”Toa Helryx? ‘The Toa Helryx? but, you were said to be dead, killed by Karzahni.”

Helryx:”The details of my death were…exaggerated to a extent, I assure you I am still very alive, as is the Order.”

Sylus:”So you aren’t going to…y’know.”

(Sylus makes a gesture pointing a finger across his throat and flicking it in a slicing fashion)

Helryx:”…No why would I want to-nevermind.”

Helryx:”If I did indeed want you dead you wouldn’t be here,now as I was saying we must speak immediately this information is important to your quest.”

Ekimu:”What kind of information?”

Helryx:”The kind that may take a while to explain, take a seat we’re going to be here a while.”

(an hour later)

(Sylus and Ekimu are listening to the information being given, Ekimu is listening intently, but Sylus seems to be dozing off)

Ekimu:”Are you listening to this? it’s important you know.”

Sylus:”Wuh-what? yeah yeah im totally listening.”

Sylus:”I’m just…recharging.”

Ekimu:”Recharging? why would you need to recharge? don’t you have toa powers?”

Sylus:”Kinda its just using my mask powers really really wears me out.”

Helryx:”…so If he manages to create this key…

Helryx:”…and opens the box, everyone you know, everyone you love everything.”

Helryx:”…will be gone forever.”

Ekimu:”We can’t let that happen.”

Sylus:”Can you repeat that again? I missed that last part.”

Helryx:”Unfortunately no, I cannot divulge any more information, I must go, Karzahni cannot know I am still alive…”

Ekimu:”Wait! could you at least tell us where Karzahni’s fortress is?”

Helryx:”It’s just around the corner…”

Sylus:”Huh…really could‘ve sworn it was farther away.”

Ekimu:”I didn’t think we were that close…”

Sylus:”Ok so we just waltz up to the front gate and get thi-”

(the Architect’s Cudgel that was sitting on a rock just a moment ago is missing)

Sylus:”where is it?”

Ekimu:”Where is what?”

Sylus:”The shiny hammer.”

Ekimu:”Its back at Master’s-

Ekimu:”…Workshop….”

(Helryx is seen running around a corner, a familiar gilded hammer is seen strapped to her back)

Ekimu:”You…STOLE it again?!?”

Sylus:”No time to stand around, we gotta get that there cudgel thief!!!”

Ekimu:”Wait! that doesn’t answer my…”

Ekimu:”(*Sigh*) I’m really going to give you a piece of my mind someday.”

The Hunter initially was summon to serve Makuta after being resurrected to serve again, the effects of the Mask of Control that turned him into the hulking monster before had been reversed reverting him back to his original body, over time he was responsible for the countless thefts from Artahka’s vaults and the murders of many of his assistants who tried to stop him. He ended up meeting his match when he was about to kill Ekimu, Sylus intervened tag teaming with the mask maker to beat down the huntsman and tearing off one of his horns, all while unknowingly being duped into taking the wrong mask for Makuta who also gave him a beating for his failure.

Later the hunter would strike out on his own vendetta to try and restore his broken pride, eventually he challenged Sylus to a duel only for the latter to defeat him in one blow and sever his other horn, broken and beaten but not finished Umarak would make his way towards the jungle wishing for the strength to challenge his foe again only for Karzahni to appear…holding a familiar golden mask…

Umarak was equipped with a repeater bow, vorpal blade and wore the Mask of Shadow Travel.

(distant footsteps)

Sylus:”Get back here with my Mallet, noodle legs!”

Sylus:”How are you so damn fast?”

Sylus:”When I find you Im gonna-”

???:”Well well well…”

Karzahni:”Look who’s back, enjoy your little adventure so far?”

Karzahni:”(gasp) And you brought the errand boy with you!”

Ekimu:”Errand boy? who you calling an erra-Karzahni!!!”

Karzahni:”Yep that’s me! Karzahni, the God emperor! Karzahni! the scourge of the Universe Karzahni! your entertainer for today…at your service…”

Ekimu:”Do you have any idea how many people you’ve killed for your sick twisted ‘games’?”

Karzahni:”Hmmm, about seventy-eight point three billion to be exact.”

Ekimu:”Your sick empire crumbles today Monster! me and my friend are going to lock you away where you belo-”

Karzahni:”Where’s your ‘friend’?”

Ekimu:”What do you mean where is my- Sylus? where did..?”

Karzahni:”The Answer to your question my dearest astute viewer is…”

Karzahni:”…NOT where our protagonist went…”

(Sylus lands behind Karzahni and takes a swing at him)

Karzahni:”…But why..?”

(Karzahni catches Sylus’ blade mid swing)

Karzahni:”…and why indeed he chose to ignore the rules…”

Karzahni:”He knew them…”

Karzahni:”And so do I!!”

(never gonna give you up!!!)

Karzahni:”So tell me ‘hero’? why do you want to kill me so badly?”

Sylus:”You have something of mine, and I want it back!”

Karzahni:”beeep! wrong answer! you want out of the ‘game’ that you agreed to.”

Karzahni:”But you didn’t really answer my question.”

(Karzahni reaches for his head and grips it tightly)

Karzahni:”Why do you WANT

(Suddenly his head pops off with little to no effort)

to kill me?”

Karzahni:”Surely you should know that killing me, while inadvisable for your well being, is simply not possible.”

Sylus:”So?”

Karzahni:”But my dear assailant, since you’ve made it this far…”

Karzahni:”…And that you have impressed me thus far, and I don’t impress easily mind you.”

Karzahni:”Let me tell you a secret that I don’t tell just anyone, but I’ll make a exception just. for. you.”

(Karzahni flips his head behind his back and shows his hands both empty, Sylus looks on in bewilderment)

*whispered* “I know what you did and who you killed to get what you wanted.”

(Sylus stares over his shoulder at the disembodied head, meanwhile Karzahni laughs maniacally at Sylus’ frantic thrashing)

Ekimu:”Sylus don’t listen to him, its just an illusion!”

Karzahni:”And you must be that mask maker everyone talks about, unimpressive.”

Karzahni:”Then again if I had to wear such a ridiculous mask…”

Ekimu:”Begone vile demon! your tricks will not fool me!”

Karzahni:” ’Demon’ is such a suggestive term, really if your going to insult someone at least get creative, tsk tsk tsk such a shame...”

Karzahni:”Hey! look out he’s right behind you!!

Karzahni:”Oh would you look that he really was, guess you got me…but what about the guy behind you?”

(an arm reaches from behind Ekimu and tears off his mask)

Karzahni:”Whoops! too late!”(crazed laughter)

Karzahni:”On further inspection…yes, this is a pretty ugly mask, nowhere near the perfection that was my brother’s mask…”

Karzahni:”And just like him, you shall be disposed of.”

(the Tyrant flings his arm to the side, Ekimu suddenly feels a force pushing him off his feet)

(Ekimu flies backwards and lands in a heap next to Sylus)

(Both of them lie beaten in front of the castle gates, beaten by Me, Karzahni! who is also your narrator)

Karzahni:”(*Yawn*)This has been fun and all, but Im really starting to get bored already, thought you two would be a challenge.”

Karzahni:”Tell you what, if you can beat my gate keeper and I’ll let you in, maybe even have a whiteboard for you by the time your done, well good luck!! not that you’ll be needing it…”

(Karzahni disappears in a column of black light leaving only silence and the distant thudding of a unknown creature)

(Sylus slowly wakes up after having been knocked unconscious)

Sylus:”Hey Ekimu, Dr. E, Emmi?”

Sylus:”C’mon wake up we can’t let that freakshow get away we need-”

(The tremors get louder)

Sylus:”Oh how could this get any worst?”

Sylus:”…Oh come on not one of these things again!”

“After witnessing Sylus’ brutal methods, Ekimu finds himself questioning the validity of the Toa’s claim of being the hero he says he is. This restrained anger was later exploited by a Rahkshi Kurahk who used its anger powers to amplify Ekimu’s to the point where he attacked Sylus saying that he lied to him about who he was, Ekimu would later be knocked out briefly with no memory of his outburst awakening later to assist Sylus in taking down the Rahkshi Kaita Za that had manifested to attack the duo, although Ekimu has forgiven Sylus, he still wonders if he is who he truly is.

Later the Duo encountered another Kaita and Ekimu struck the beast unaware of its latent power absorbing abilities, this forced them into a corner where they were trapped, until Ekimu used his own Mask of Creation to create a motorcycle vehicle to escape, he was also responsible for single-handedly taking out the Rahkshi Kaita Vo along the way.

“Lemme tell ya that guy is much tougher than he looks, for a fancy-pants toa he sure knows his stuff I’ll give him that, when he told me that he liked motorcycles, I laughed at him for it, when we left that horse Kaita thing in the dust in a flaming heap, laughed with him, been to long since I had friends…(sigh) -Sylus

“Toa Tuyet, toa of water, former member of the toa mangaia team, and the megalomaniacal ruler of Metru Nui all these titles belonged to the Traitorous toa of water before her untimely death from her own hubris. before all that happened she once lived on an island that held a artifact only known as the nui stone, a relic that granted whoever possessed it the strength of several hundred toa, she stole the stone and headed to metru nui after being summoned to there to defeat the Kanohi Dragon. after the battle was won and many of the other toa had left leaving her, toa Nidhiki and toa Lhikan, she realized that the Dark Hunters, a dangerous mercenary group was looking for the Nui Stone and had tracked it and her to the city, she began discreetly killing matoran and blaming the dark hunters for the murders, though even afterwards she kept killing matoran to continue the ruse, however, she was eventually found out by Nidhiki and Lhikan who tried to stop her, although this is where the timeline spits, on one end she is stopped and imprisioned for her crimes, but here, Nidhiki decided to betray Lihkan here and helped Tuyet kill him, keeping the murders under wraps, over time with the Nui Stone in hand, she eventually conquered all of the known universe ruling as a Tyrant.
