Karzahni;“could have my Bohrok entertainers amuse me, but they got fried last week so…”

Karzahni;“You know what I can just pull more…friends to play with, that mask I took was the best thing since godhood!”

Karzahni“I’m so brilliant I surprise myself sometimes.”

Karzahni“Now why didn’t I think of this sooner? could’ve sworn there was a reason why I-”

(Karzahni uses his flaming chain to pull a entity from a dimensional rift)

Karzahni;“-didn’t do this…oh…ugh, unsightly.”

Karzahni;”well, can’t send this back, take her to the rebuilding chamber”

thrall;”yes my lord”

Karzahni;”Well maybe the coordinates were a bit off maybe if i do it a bit like-”

(the corpse is dragged off to be rebuilt and revived)

(pause for effect)

Karzahni;“THIS!”

(Karzahni suddenly break-dances and finishes with a head-spin before flinging the chain into a rift once again)

Karzahni;”Yes!, finally something that isn’t dead or in pieces, now I can-”

Karzahni;”wait…hold on your not what I was looking for.”

Rotor;”wh-what? where? w-who?”

Karzahni;”Well…i’ll take what I can get, whats your name pal?”

Rotor;”Wha- hold on you talkin to me?”

Karzahni;”Well ‘talkin to me’ I brought ‘you’ here today because you are going to do something special for me.”

Rotor;”hey, hey, personal space pal.”

Karzahni;”Sure, I’ll give you all the space you need after you hear me out”

Rotor;”didn’t ya hear me the first time? I said back off!”

Karzahni:”Your being awfully rude for someone I invited into my home.”

Rotor;”that’s it, you wanna tussle ya horned freak? gonna chop that smug head a yours when i’m done wit you”

(Rotor fires his meteor cannon,Karzahni flips out of the way)

(-right around a pillar behind Rotor, who seems unaware of where karzahni has gone)

(Karzahni lands on Rotor, stunning him)

Karzahni;”Hi!”

(Karzahni does a back flip off of Rotor)

(-and sticks the landing)

Karzahni;”Bye…”

(karzahni tosses his chain behind him with such force that it embeds itself into the pillar dragging Rotor who had been stuck with chains on the impact)

Rotor;“nice trick, but that ain’t holdin me for long”

Karzahni;”Don’t strain yourself those protosteel chains were made to be unbreakable and I need you in tip-top shape for your new job.”

Rotor;”proto-what now?”

Karzahni;”Also, you better get comfortable because your gonna clean these floors that you scratched up with your…is that a mask or your face?”

Rotor;”Just wait till I get outta here, gonna splatter you all over dis room.”

Karzahni;”Can’t say you will, but I’ve been wrong before, albeit rarely, I appreciate the attempt though…”

Karzahni;”I can’t believe I caught myself an alien, now I could have you clean the floors OR maybe I might throw you into my fighting pits we could use something new, Ahkmou is getting pretty worn out.”

Karzahni;”Nah might just hang you over a pool of takea sharks, that sounds like fun, their last caretaker got eaten and they haven’t eaten in days.”

Karzahni;”You’ve been pretty quiet back there, what are you doin- wait what?”

Rotor;”gonna slice you open clown!”

Karzahni;”Hey hey hey hey! how did you escape? no one would be able to break free, unless…”

Karzahni;”I get it now, your an alien the laws of this world don’t apply to you, bravo, i’m impressed and I don’t impress easily”

Rotor;”Why won’t you die?”

Karzahni;”Eh, didn’t feel like it, now you may not be from this world, but it’s clear that we could both profit, you and me.”

Karzahni;”You help me and I can grant you a wish

Rotor;”A wish…like anything?”

Karzahni;”yep money, weapons, immortality, your own website…it’s yours my friend as long as you can promise me that you’ll use those skills of yours to decapitate a certain someone I know, so we have a deal?”

Rotor;”Don’t know about this there some kinda catch?”

Karzahni;”Oh and before you go there is someone else who should be coming she should be ready so-”

Karzahni;”Tuyet! good to see you too! I assume the reviving process treated you well?”

Tuyet;”Yes,but that’s for you to see and me to show you.”

Tuyet;”Since when did you quit re-education? your out of line, trash.”

Karzahni;”You talk big for a recent corpse, besides the other two who challenged me were bigger than you and from what I remember you aren’t half the fighter you use to be-”

Tuyet:”Choose your next words wisely wretch, I may not have a mask, or a kingdom or even an army, but i’ve still got enough energy to tear you, and everyone in this room apart.”

Karzahni;” no mask eh? well you make a contract with me and i can give you the most powerful mask in my collection”

Tuyet:”Your ‘deals’ do not interest me, wretch, I’ve had lower scum make better attempts at bargaining with me than whatever you could ever do.”

Tuyet:”Forget it, your not worth my time snake, go bother someone else weak-minded enough to accept your temptations, like that orange brute over there.”

Karzahni:”(sigh) suppose your right, you’ve got it all, i’ve got nothing.”

Karzahni:”Power? you already have the power of a thousand toa, immortality? already gave you that, you already have everything I could give you, what more could I do? though…”

Karzahni:”You would like to be interested in some….revenge?”

(Tuyet stops walking)

(back at Artakha’s workshop)

Ekimu;”Master Artakha we need to speak with you, there’s been another attack.”

Ekimu;”The hunter attacked me while I was off to destroy the mask, i’m telling you my brother grows more and more bold and the attacks keep increasing we can’t keep holding off rahkshi and elemental beasts forever we must-”

Artakha; “Ekimu, while your concern is noted and the breach by the hunter was unforseen, it is not surprising at all, if anything, it means the prophecy has begun, and bigger things are afoot…”

Ekimu;”I’m sorry I couldn’t destroy the mask but at least the hunter take it.”

Artakha:”I understand, it will be locked in the vaults instead, i’m just glad that you are still alive and not another mask on Umarak’s wall.”

Ekimu;”Thank you master you are too kind, i promise that i’ll try harder to live up to your legacy”

Artakha;”You are welcome my apprentice, i’ve watched your prowess grow by the day, you continue to impress and i’m proud to teach you everything I know.”

Artakha;”This setback in destroying the mask is nothing to be ashamed of, the blame is only my own for not having security keep watch there, the shadow-walker of Makuta will not stop, and neither shall we.”

Artakha:”(ahem) I don’t believe we’ve been introduced yet, what is your name stranger?”

Sylus:”Oh um, it’s Sylus, toa of…jus-tice…yeah yeah justice! i’m a friend of what’s your name again?”

Ekimu;”Ekimu, the mask-maker”

Sylus;”yeah Ekimo, he’s cool I saved him.”

Ekimu;”Yes, he saved my life from the hunter and was the one who outsmarted him, he also says strange things I don’t understand.”

Ekimu;”Toa Sylus, do you still have Umarak’s horn? we need it as proof.”

Sylus;”Yeah, just give me a second don’t really have pockets anywhere...”

Sylus;”Is this it? wasn’t hard to get he was kind of a pushover.”

(Sylus produces the horn to Artakha)

Artakha:”You speak of the one who has single-handedly killed hundred’s of my apprentices, stolen dozens of valuable masks and supplies and is the most loyal servant of Makuta, you would be wise to treat him as much of a threat as his master.”

Artakha;”And yet you’ve bested him like he was nothing, your arrival may not be happenstance but perhaps it is destiny that you saved my last apprentice, and for that you have my gratitude.”

Artakha;”Come, we must assess the damage and make sure the materials I need are still intact.”

Ekimu;”Come on brave toa we could use your help.”

Sylus;”Ok, ok give me a sec…”

(Sylus backs toward the work table)

(He slowly reaches over for a gold plated hammer in a slot)

(…And follows after the others hiding his stolen prize out of sight)

Artakha:”The supplies we need are thankfully still intact though this workplace will take days to repair.”

Sylus:”Hey guys, sorry i’m late what did i miss?”

Ekimu:”Oh, we just found the supplies we needed for a project that i’m sure you will very much appreciate. ”

Ekimu:”Anyways, master Artakha has something to tell you, he says its important to you…”

Artakha:”I believe your mask of dimensional gates was stolen?”

Sylus:”Wait, how do you know about my-”

Tuyet:”Kanohi Olmak? that particular mask was stolen from me by that theiving stone rat, Sylus!”

Karzahni:”That, the silver and grey fellow who showed up here few weeks ago? he ruined my curtains, so I took this mask and the sword your holding right now as compensation, I assume both are yours?”

Tuyet:”The mask? no, my blade? yes, but if I had that mask…”

Karzahni:”…You could go find a new kingdom yes, and with this one no less, sure, you could use it and become lost in a place your not welcome in or worse, end up in more pieces than I found you in.”

Tuyet:”What do you offer then?”

Karzahni:”The knowledge to use the mask properly in exchange you will hunt down the architect, his errand boy, and maybe your revenge will be fulfilled along the way deal?”

Tuyet:”…deal”

Sylus:”So i’m stuck here until I get the Olmak back from Karzahni? great,I mean he took my sword too (though it really wasn’t mine to begin with) can’t you make a Olmak for me to use instead?”

Artakha;”No, there isn’t enough material to make one and even if I did the mask wouldn’t work, all dimensional conduits all head to one place, and If my brother has that mask it would mean the end of not just this dimension but for others…he would be unstoppable.”

Artakha:”No…come we must send you on your way to stop that, Ekimu, you must go with him.”

Ekimu:”Me? why do I have to go?”

Sylus:”Yeah I agree with the nerd, why does he have to come with me?”

Artakha:”Because you need a guide to this world if your going to find a way to my brother’s stronghold.”

Karzahni:”C’mon kids lets get you set up, you too weird orange alien.”

Karzahni:”Oh your gonna love this mask forge its great since well, i’m not the greatest at mask-crafting myself, as my brother can attest.”

Karzahni:”Besides, I ‘borrowed’ it from my brother’s place.”

Karzahni:”My brother, was always the saint”

Karzahni:”…Always the noble creator.”

Karzahni:”He always stood up for others and possessed a noble heart,a beacon of hope shining in the night...”

Karzahni:”…which is why I want it snuffed out, it makes me sick.”

Karzahni:”That he was the great beings favorite and i’m just the leftovers.”

Karzahni:”Fate has turned the tables…”

Karzahni:”…The hated son granted salvation from fate…”

Karzahni:”…And all I had to do to grasp the stars in my hands…”

(Karzahni lands in front of Tuyet and rotor, a twisted grin on his face)

Karzahni:”…Was to make a wish of my own.”

Artakha:”there, may this blade help you on your journey.”

Sylus:”Neat blade and all but, What’s this thing do?”

Artakha:”The weapon was made from the weapons of the Toa Nuva, so the blade should be able to harness all six elements, the horn was used to be able to detect any dark energy in your vicinity take good care of it I can’t make you another one if it breaks.”

Artakha:”And please, this world is depending on you, we depend on you.”

Artakha:”My brother controls all but is not omnipotent, however he will stop at nothing to see you brought down, he will throw every opponent he can bring forth,should you fail…”

Arthakha:”…Then Mata Nui help us all…”

“Before I made my wish and ascension to god I would use this mask to enforce my will upon my hapless works under me, it had this effect similar to watching a loved one die a gruesome death or one’s life fall apart in front of them, this usually was enough to get the slackers back in line, but now? it seems when you have the universe at your fingertips you don’t need to scare everyone with a paltry mask power the mask was one of the few things that never really changed for me. physically, i’ve altered its appearance to suit my new form but its still the same mask underneath…why haven’t I just gotten a new mask? maybe i’m just sentimental for the old thing, ’fading nostalgia’ they say.”

Ekimu:”So you just put the mask in the machine, and it broke?

Sylus:”Yeah, it was either that or spend the rest if my life behind bars no other way around it, though it let me fly a vehicle out of there think that place was called…maku-hero…something I dunno, i’m here aren’t I?”

Sylus:”Then there was this time before I came here where this megalomaniac, Tuyet locked me up in her own prison but Artakha, that world’s Artakha Gave me a mask that let helped me escape by giving me a map of the prison and a escape tunnel out.”

Ekimu:”That’s incredible, Master Artakha still only lets me craft noble masks, did you know he brought me to this world with an Olmak? I lived on an island called Okoto before Artakha summoned me,his techniques surpassed my own and I wanted to learn from him as best I could, when my brother, the Makuta from my world showed up, I did my best to help him protect his workshop, the last safe place from Karzahni’s rule.”

Ekimu:” Though i’m certain you must have seen more than me what was it like?”

Sylus:”You really want to know? good things bad things and everything in between.”

Sylus:”And its thanks to masks like these that i’m still standing.”

Ekimu:”Amazing i’ve read up on all the masks ever made in history before the fall, but i’ve never seen one like this before, such an …unorthodox design.”

Ekimu:”I-could I perhaps examine this mask a little clos-”

Sylus:”Not a chance pal.”

Ekimu:”W-what? why?”

Sylus:”Cause I ain’t letting anyone touch my masks without my permission ok? so hands of Ekibob.”

Ekimu:”It’s Ekimu!,not ‘Ekibob’ or ‘Ekimo’ or ‘nerd’ what does that last one even mean!?”

Sylus:”It means you talk too much and your a whimpy nerdy nerd.”

Ekimu:”That was rude and uncalled for!”

(A presence watches from afar)

Ekimu:”I demand an apology and that you start calling me by my real name Eki-”

Sylus:”stop”

Ekimu:”what are you-”

(Sylus tosses Ekimu out of the way as a shadow bolt whizzes by and implants into the floor nearby)

Sylus:”we aren’t alone”

Ekimu:”what-what do you-”

(Sylus goes into a battle pose)

Ekimu:”Umarak”

Umarak:”so we meet again meat,”

Ekimu:”Makuta sent you to hound us again?”

Umarak:”No, I’ve come on my own terms, this isn’t about the hunt anymore when you took my horn, you made it personal, now I’m here to settle the score with you!”

Sylus:”…”

Umarak:”(dark chuckle) so your too scared to fight me head on eh? scared speechless for what im going to do to you when im done with you”

Sylus:”(still says nothing and holds completely still)

Umarak:”No matter, if you won’t say anything thats fine by me, I’ll just tear the screams out of you myself!”

(umarak charges sylus who is still unmoving)

(Expecting a counterattack, Umarak slides to the side until he’s behind Sylus)

Ekimu:” Toa Sylus, watch out!”

Sylus:”(completly still)”

(Umarak takes a swing at Sylus’ exposed back with his jagged blade)

(The blade makes contact with Sylus’ exposed back…)

(...And yet there is no scream nor any sign that the blade has even made a scratch, Ekimu looks on just as surprised and confused as Umarak)

Umarak:”What. is. this? another trick?”

Umarak:”why.”

Umarak:”won’t.”

Umarak:”you.”

Umarak:”DIE!!!”

(Umarak, with every ounce of strength left thrusts his blade with enough force to slice a steel beam in half, into Sylus’ mask ,the impact causes the protosteel machete to vibrate and eventually, crack right down the middle but not it half)

Umarak:”(looks at his damaged blade and backs away from Sylus in disbelief)H-h-how? i-impossible…”

Sylus:”Gotta say you almost had me there…almost.”

Sylus:”Also you’ve got quite the arm there, you work out?”

Sylus:”Lemme tell you something, this mask I wear isn’t just for show it’s called the Kanohi Felwiin, mask of Inertia.”

Sylus:”It lets me soak up tons of damage all the while preventing me from speaking, moving, or anything at all.”

(Sylus raises his hand up to Umarak’s forehead)

Sylus:”and afterwards it lets me release all that energy in a single blow all i’ve gotta do is touch something, in this case, you, and…”

(Sylus flicks his prosthetic finger against the hunters head)

Sylus:”Skidoosh”

(in a second, Umarak feels fine,a nother second he’s flying backwards confused how he got there, a third second he hits the ground,a spit second later his entire body is overwhelmed with pain, finally another spilt second the pain stops and he passes out)

(Ekimu stares dumbfounded at what he had just witnessed)

(footsteps)

(Stare)

Sylus:”…what? never seen someone flick someones horn off? do it with Kane-ra bulls all the time”

Sylus:”you think these weapons would be helpful or something we should probably take them just in case now come on E we got an adventure ahead of us”

(a unknown figure watches the duo in the distsance then walks away)

“this mask was forged by Makuta after the real one was taken in a heated battle against Artahka, this mask resembles the original with some extra bits for vanity, but it is powerless and only serves as a placeholder until the real one is reclaimed.”

“I always believed that masks are a big part of one’s identity, so it would make sense that Makuta feels like a part of him was taken when we took the original, perhaps it was wrong to take his mask, after all he may be a monster but he’s still my brother.”—Ekimu

Nidhiki;”Krekka.”

Nihdiki;”Krekka…”

Nihdiki;”Krekka, no over here.”

Krekka;”ehh where nidhiki?, i don’t see anything?”

Nihdiki:”turn it around you blundering oaf”

Krekka;” I still don’t see anything”

Nihdiki;”thats because you didn’t remove the front cover”

(Makuta peers into a room off to the side)

Karzahni:”And is much quieter, no offense but your just not suited to the job.”

(Makuta hides around the bend to continue to listen)

???;now listen here punk, I came all this way to take the job and now your just gonna give it to some mute freak you pulled with your freaky powers or something?

Karzahni;”Exactly, if you disagree with my choice the door is over there, or you can go to the fighting pits instead.”

(Furno’s blade swipes out instantly, in a one fluid motion it barely grazes the Skadi’s neck)

(suddenly the spiked head of the thug falls to the floor, his body seems to be on the brink of falling apart)

(a sudden breeze passes through, the body suddenly falls to pieces, a clear cut appearing on body’s remains with what appears to be scorch marks inside)

(finally the legs give out and the fresh corpse lands on the floor)

Karzahni;”well well well another arena contestant has been eliminated and with no mess to clean up, skakdi always leave a ’nasty impression’ on people.”

Karzahni;”You’ve done well, why don’t take that rifle from his remains? you earned it and he won’t be needing it anymore.”

(Makuta can hardly look away as the action unfolds in front of him)

(Furno walks by, giving Makuta a brief glance before continuing down the hallway)

(Makuta watches intently as the crimson charred figure turns a corner out of sight)

Makuta gen 2;”What…what was that thing? whatever it is, its not a toa.”

Karzahni:”Your half-correct, as always, that’s my newest contender in this little game of mine, Furno, or William Furno as he use to call himself.”

(Makuta jumps back, startled by the mad god’s sudden appearance)

Karzahni:”Whats wrong friend? you look a little pale under that mask.”

Makuta gen 2;”No, no I came to see you as you asked of me what did you want?”

Karzahni:”oh nothing important, just wanted you to meet your new friends, or just one since the other one couldn’t keep it together.”

Karzahni:”besides you already have that horned fellow with you so that might be a good replacement.”

Karzahni:”Anyways that’s all I really wanted to bring up, try not to bring up the topic of his home dimension, he really flies off the hook if you catch my drift, alright see you in a bit i’m gonna check this room over there be right back ‘friend.”

Makuta gen 2:”(sigh) It’s no use, I’ll never be free from him.”

Helryx:”Karzahni is many things, but subtle is not one of them, if he were trying to trick you you would know, his ascension doesn’t seem to have changed anything.”

Helryx:”Where you are in our plan it is crucial that you cooperate with us and follow through you are in a prime postion to help crumble the mad god’s empire from within.”

Helryx:”You can keep serving the mad tyrant, or you can help us, you’ll be returned home if you do.”

Helryx:”You have a choice and you may refuse if you wish, but keep in mind that this is the only time we are offering this is you one and only chance to be a hero.”

Makuta gen 2;”And if I turn you down, will you be against me?”

Helryx:”Technically, yes you would be an enemy to The Order, but if I was keen on destroying you I would be done by now.”
