Antonio Vincenzo: Ventrue Sheriff, 8th Generation. In life, a small-time detective who got too close to discovering the mob’s connections to the Kindred. Embraced in the 50’s to get him out of the way. Was attached to network teams where he excelled. After the Camarilla lost its police ties with Sheriff Barnes’ disappearance, Lodin chose Vincenzo as a replacement due to his deep connections to the criminal underworld. Vincenzo is trying to hold Chicago together while hiding his relationship with Carla.
Carla: Nosferatu Info-Broker, 10th Generation. Carla was once Vincenzo’s secretary, but when he went missing, she did everything in her power to learn what had become of him. After chasing a lead, she witnessed a coterie of vampires feeding. Rather than blood hunting her, Kraus the Nosferatu Primogen embraced her as a favor to Vincenzo. The changes wrought upon her by the blood disfigured her in true Nosferatu fashion and have left her as a warped husk of her former self. Though she is sequestered beneath the city morgue, Carla has put her connections and organization skills to good use by collecting and brokering information across Chicago. She and Vincenzo have only recently begun to make up, but since his becoming Sheriff Vincenzo has attempted to keep their love a secret to protect her. Carla spends most of her time trying on wigs and the latest fashions in her office, but wants to be more active.
